Upon arrival in Lima, we will transfer you from the airport to your hotel. At 12:30 p.m. we will pick you up for a city tour lasting approximately four hours. We will start the tour visiting the Plaza San Martin and the Jiron de la Union, which is a fascinating boulevard that leads to the Plaza de Armas, the main square.
Next, we will visit the San Francisco Monastery, a World Heritage Site. This monastery is known for its Spanish Baroque architecture. Lima’s first cemetery, the Catacombs, is hidden under these floors of the monastery. Our driver will take you to your hotel where you will have the rest of the day at leisure.
Today, after breakfast we will go to Chincha ( el carmen ) city of the afroperuvian culture where we will visit the big house called San Jose to see and dance the afroperuvian music , we eat luch at the San Jose and continue to Paracas (pisco ), we have the free afternoon to sit by the ocean and spend the night in Paracas.
Today we will start our trip to Paracas . the boat tour to the Ballestas Islands, three small islands full of wildlife just a few minutes from the coast.
On the trip to the islands, we will be able to see the “Candelabro”, a giant candelabra-shaped geoglift. When we arrive at the Ballestas Islands, we will stay on the boat while observing the frenzy of amazing animals that include noisy but playful seals and sea lions, as well as an abundance of seabirds, including Humboldt penguins, pelicans, curlews, Inca terns, Peruvian boobies, red-footed cormorants, and guanayes.
After our tour of the islands, we will have enough time for lunch before driving to Ica where we will visit the beautiful Huacachina Oasis. Lined with palm trees, the blue-green oasis is surrounded by sand dunes where you can have a wild and unforgettable buggy ride and sand adventure.
After breakfast we will drive to Nazca (2hrs 30min) on the way we will see part of the Atacama desert and also part of the Nazca lines, we will climb a towel to see 3 Nazca lines, after we will arrive to the hotel and eat lunch, we will continue our trip going to the aqueducts of cantayoc water irrigation and drinking water coming from the andes of Peru, Paredones (pre incas constructions) and the cementery of chauchilla to find differents mummys , night in Nazca
After breakfast at your hotel, we will transfer you to the airport from where we will take a 30 minutes flight over the incredible Nazca Lines. During this overflight of Nazca Lines, we will be able to see the most fascinating figures such as: the monkey, the hummingbird, the tree, the parrot, the astronaut, the dog, the condor and others. After this adventure in the Peruvian desert our private transportation will take us back to Lima, where you will stay in a hotel for the night.
After breakfast, a Conde Travel staff member will pick you up from your hotel and accompany you to the Lima International Airport where you will take a flight to Cusco. This flight will only take one hour and ten minutes. You will have the rest of the day to explore this beautiful city. Due to the altitude difference with Lima it is recommended to get plenty of rest and drink coca tea to acclimatize.
An incredible tour awaits us today. We will begin our VIP tour of the Sacred Valley of the Incas in Chinchero, where we will join a traditional weaving workshop. This village is composed mainly of adobe houses and the locals still go about their business in traditional dress. The walls and roofs of this village are covered with beautiful floral and religious designs. We will be part of the most remarkable handmade textile shows and see great presentations performed by the locals. We continue with a guided visit to the non-traditional circuit of Moray, a unique archaeological group. The gigantic circular depressions in the surface of the ground, with their respective irrigation canals, are believed to have been an agricultural research center of the Incas. We then head to the salt mines located 7 km from Moray, passing through a typical Spanish village called Maras. To the northwest of the village of Maras, we will find around 2000 small wells that local people still use to provide themselves with salt. Then we head to the next stop, Urubamba, where we will enjoy a great lunch. We will then continue to Ollantaytambo where you will have the rest of the night at your disposal and spend the night in a hotel.
Early in the morning, after breakfast, we will transfer you from your hotel to the train station. We will take the train around 6:10 a.m., so be sure to be there at least 30 minutes in advance. The train ride will take approximately 1.5 hours until we reach kilometer 104, where we will begin our hike. The guide will lead you on foot to the ruins of Chachabamba where the tour will begin. From there the journey will continue and we will pass a small refreshing waterfall on the way to the ruins of Winay Wayna where the impressive platforms will demonstrate the skill of Andean engineering. After lunch we will continue the hike to Inti Punku (Sun Gate) from where we will have the first view of Machu Picchu as well as a beautiful panoramic view of the village on the hill. From here we will take the bus to Aguas Calientes where we will spend the night, have dinner and prepare for the next day in Machu Picchu.
At 5:30 am, after breakfast, we begin the hike to Machu Picchu where we will have a guided tour of the different sectors of the archaeological complex, including the Intihuatana or sundial, used by the ancient Peruvian settlers. Afterwards you will have free time to explore the sites on your own. To climb the mountain of Huayna Picchu (optional, prior reservation). The hike takes only one hour, and it is absolutely worth it, the view is breathtaking and the experience will be unforgettable. At a certain time we take the bus down from Machu Picchu to Aguas Calientes to board the train to Ollantaytambo, and then go by bus to Cusco. You will have enough time to get to Cusco and take the bus for the next trip to Puerto Maldonado.
The day before, in the evening. You will travel by bus from Cusco to Puerto Maldonado. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the Monte Amazonico Lodge office. A representative of our agency will give you a final briefing about your trip before leaving for the adventure. It is difficult to transport large luggage, so we suggest that you carry only what is necessary for the trip. You will travel for about 2 hours in a 4×4 van to a destination on the banks of the Tambopata River. From here, you will take a boat to the lodge “Monte Amazoníco – Tambopata” where you will be welcomed with lunch. In the afternoon, you will take an introductory walk into the rainforest, where you will have the opportunity to see many animals in their natural habitat. You will see amphibians, mammals, reptiles, birds and wonderful insects. In the evening we will have dinner at the lodge and rest.
We got up very early, at 4:30 am, to take an incredible boat trip to the largest Macaw Clay lick in the world; The chunch. The trip lasts about an hour to half an hour and on the way you will have the opportunity to see many animals such as capybaras (the largest rodents in the world), tapirs and, if you are lucky, the most beautiful feline in South America; The jaguar. Many of our clients have witnessed and photographed encounters with these beautiful creatures. Upon arrival at the Macaw Clay licks, you will see hundreds of parrots of 11 different species coming to eat clay along the river bank. From your chair, you will witness one of the most beautiful natural bird sightings in the world. There will be many parrots and the most colorful macaws in America: red and green, blue and yellow. They all come together to eat clay, a necessary part of their daily diet that helps them eliminate toxins. On a good day you will see hundreds of these wonderful animals flying over you. It is an experience of a lifetime. After our visit, we will return to our lodge for breakfast and have time to rest. Later in the morning, you will walk through the botanical garden in the company of our guide, where you can learn about the fruits, trees and medicinal plants of the area. After lunch, we follow the same route back to Puerto Maldonado where you will spend the night at your hotel.
Today concludes our visit. After breakfast we will transfer you back to the airport, as you will be on your way home or to your next travel destination.
