Picking Up from Cusco Airport to your chosen hostel. Free morning to take a little rest and get the altitude. At 1:30 pm. You will be picked up from the hostel to take the CITY TOUR: 04 Hours. These sites are Sacsayhuaman, Q’enqo, Pukapukara y Tambomachay. We will return to the city to spend the night in Cusco.
The tour begins at 8:30am when we will pick you up from your Cusco Hotel. We will then travel by private transportation to the archaeological site of Pisac located 45 minutes from Cusco. Pisac gives us an insight into the advanced knowledge and thinking of the Incans in terms of architecture, building platforms, agriculture, ceremonies and the exploitation of water for agriculture. The other reason to visit Pisac is the artisanal market where we can find unique and authentic handcrafted items. At midday we will head towards the town of Urubamba where we will have a delicious buffet lunch and you’ll have the opportunity to try traditional Peruvian food. Urubamba was one of the principal centres of agriculture in the Incan empire. After lunch we will continue to the fortress town of Ollantaytambo, this Incan city served as an important religious, political and agricultural place. Ollantaytambo is the only Incan city which maintained its original design. It is from Ollantaytambo that we take the train to Aguas Calientes. The next day we will visit Machu Picchu early.

Today, after breakfast, we will visit the site of Machu Picchu! We will take a bus from the bus station, approximately 20 minutes duration, to arrive at Machu Picchu. It is also possible to trek there (optional), which takes approximately 1 hour. On the Machu Picchu site, we will visit Huayna Picchu, a small mountain with breath taking views making for an unforgettable experience. There are 2 groups available, at 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. To the summit of Huayna Picchu is approximately a 1 hour walk. Afterwards there is a two hour guided tour of the Historic Site of Machu Picchu (Historical sanctuary of Machu Picchu). Finally we must depart the site, taking the bus returning to Aguas Clientes. At Aguas Calientes we will board the train to Ollantaytambo, and from there the bus to Cusco.
Note: To climb mountain Huayna Picchu, it is necessary to reserve at least 3 months in advance, due to limited availability. If Huayna Picchu is not available, it is also possible to climb the mountain Machu Picchu.
We will pick you up from your hotel around 4:30am – 5:30am and go head south through the town of Urco to the Checacupe District (2 hours by bus) and then follow the path to Pitumarca where we’ll have breakfast. Then we continue along the road through small villages until we arrive to the community of Hanchipata – Quesiuno (1 hour and 20 minutes by bus), the ideal starting point to walk the route. We will see incredible mountains such as Ausangate, beautiful blue lagoons, and many other natural places. The walk to Vinicunca (Rainbow Mountain) will last approximately 3 hours. At this peak we will savour the view for about an hour taking photos of the beautiful scenery before descending the path and returning to our bus. We will go back to Pitumarca for have lunch and then we’ll get back to Cusco.
