We depart at 08:00 a.m. Pick you up at your Hotel. On the way we will appreciate the spectacular Volcanoes of Misti (5825 m.s.n.m) and Chachani (6057 m.s.n.m.), also we see wild vicuñas, alpacas & llamas in Pampa Cañahuas national reserve, Also we can observe exotic birds such as: flamingos, ducks, ibis, falcons, eagles, and many others. The view point of the Volcanoes and snow covered mountains in Patapampa (4,800 m.a.s.l). Continuing with the trip we start our decent into Chivay (3600 m.a.s.l), capital of the valley. Afternoon optional visit to the thermal springs & pools in La Calera 40ºC.
Admission to the pools not included, about $ 6 per person.
Note: The opcional visit to La Calera Hot Springs is for passangers staying at Chivay only.
Early morning after breakfast we leave for a full day excursion, After a 2 hrs. Driving we get the most visited point “Cruz Del Condor”, here we will be able to observe the depths and beauty of the deepest canyon in the world. Also here, you will enjoy the imposing beauty of nature and you will observe the emblem of the Colca, the Condor.
We will return to Chivay visiting the different towns and viewpoints in the region of Pinchollo, the viewpoint of Antahuilque, where you can observe pre-Incan tombs, pre-Incan agriculture terraces and learn of the dominion of agriculture that our ancestors possessed. We will also pass through other Colcan towns like Maca and Yanque.
After lunch return to Arequipa. 5:00 pm approx. in Arequipa). End of service.
