Huchuy Qosqo – Machu Picchu 3D/2N

Itinerary

Day 1: Cusco - Piuray Lagoon - Chincheros

We will pick you up from your hotel around 7.30 am with our private vehicle. Heading towards the Abode of the Gods, this route will take us an approximate of 30 minutes leaving from the city of Cusco, appreciating all the tourist panorama during this journey we will pass through beautiful colorful valleys, indigenous communities and we can appreciate the agricultural work of the various communities, reaching our first stop at the abode of the Gods where you can appreciate the art impregnated in huge rocks, we will be in this beautiful place for a period of 30 minutes approximate then we headed towards the beautiful lagoon of Piuray, at an altitude of 3.754 meters above sea level and located about 30 kilometres from the city of Cusco. We will have enough time to relax, rest and recover with a delicious lunch prepared by a cook in the refuge, appreciating this beautiful sunset in this beautiful lagoon, the sound of birds, a therapy to the peace and tranquility that gives us this beautiful place.

In the evening we will prepare for camping and around 7:00 pm dinner will be ready. Vegetarian options are available.

Day 2: Piuray Lagoon - Huchuy Qosqo - Lamay

Early in the morning, we will wake up to appreciate the beauty of the morning birds and we will be able to take exclusive photos of this sunrise, which begins with the sunrise at 5am, after having our breakfast at the edge of the lake with an impressive panoramic view a beautiful memory that your family and friends can appreciate this beautiful lagoon, then our transport will drive us to the community of Ccorimarca which is located at an altitude of 3693 meters above sea level, This community is one of the localities that has undergone many changes and transformations throughout its history, such as urban legends like the case of mermaids in the afternoons, ghosts at night in every corner of the houses or that previously when someone or strange people visited these places…they were surprised to find that it started to rain and hail. Then, we will walk up the mountain to be able to appreciate all the Ccoricocha lagoon, this walk will be of approximately 40 minutes we will pass by the high peaks of these mountains to be able to appreciate better the view of the Ccoricocha lagoon we will be in this point of view for approximately 30 minutes. Then we will descend, by the Inca roads and with direction towards the canyon where the bridge of the Inca is, we will cross this bridge and we will go to the citadel of Huchuy Qosqo, we will appreciate all this archaeological center for 1 hour, then we will go down for an hour of crossing until arriving to the district of Lamay, where our private transport will pick us with direction towards the pictures town of Ollantaytambo where the train station is located that will take us towards the town of Aguas Calientes where we will rest.

Day 3: Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Cusco

We get up early in the morning around 4 am, our guide will pick us up from the hotel to start our hike to the citadel of Machu Picchu. This hike lasts approximately 1 hour and a half. Upon entering Machu Picchu our guide will give you all the information about the citadel and the history of the Incas. This circuit lasts approximately 2 hours, then you can take souvenir photos of this majestic city of the Incas, at the end of this tour we will go to the town of Aguas Calientes where we will board the train back according to our train itinerary, upon arrival in Ollantaytambo our assistant will wait for our group to drive them to our private transport that will take us back to the imperial city of Cusco.
