After the tour, head to a restaurant to enjoy a fantastic dinner with a show, after which you will be sent back to the hotel for the night, where you can prepare for your flight to Cusco the next day. Overnight in Lima.
In the morning, after breakfast, take a hike around the Palomino Islands to explore the richness of Lima’s coastline, which lies just 9 kilometers offshore. These islands are home to hundreds of animal species, including several species of birds and sea lions. After the tour, disembark at the pier and visit Callao Monumental, an urban art project designed to encourage cultural development in order to bring the community together and improve the quality of life of the region’s residents, while promoting the development of local artists.
Through this initiative, the area has been given a new lease on life and artists are helping to teach their skills to children and youth in the surrounding neighborhoods, encouraging them to develop their talents and opening the door to future employment opportunities. After these two interesting tours, you will have free time to explore the art galleries and bohemian restaurants that have become a new attraction in the city. At the end of the day, a transfer will take you back to your hotel, where you can prepare for your flight to Cusco the next day. Overnight in Lima.
Upon arrival at Lima International Airport, you will take your domestic flight to Cusco. A short but spectacular flight over the snowy Andes to the oldest inhabited city in the hemisphere, Cusco, at an altitude of 11,440 feet. Upon arrival, we will transfer you to your hotel in Urubamba in the Sacred Valley.

In the morning we will have a delicious breakfast, then we will go to the salt mines, place of salt extraction, and we will continue our visit to the archaeological site of Moray.
Afterwards, we will continue with our last stop in Chincheros, and then we will be transferred to our lodging in the sacred valley
In the morning we will be transferred to Pisac, an archaeological site, where we will have a view for about 30 minutes, then we will take a one hour trip to Ollantaytambo where we will visit the entire fortress.
In the afternoon we will take the train to Aguas Calientes, where a staff of the agency will be waiting for us to be transferred to our respective lodging.
In the evening we will have time to visit the city of Aguas Calientes, at a scheduled time we will go out for dinner, remember that you must rest early because the next day will be your visit to Machu Picchu.
In the morning after breakfast we will board the bus to Machu Picchu where we will have a guided tour of the different sectors of the archaeological complex, including the Intihuatana or sundial, used by the ancient Peruvian colonists. To climb the mountain of Huayna Picchu (optional), you can choose the second group at 10:00 am.
This evening we will rest in Aguas Calientes, to leave the next morning.
Note: if you wish to climb Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain, you must book at least three months in advance, due to limited availability. This activity is optional ($20.00 US).
In the afternoon, you will enjoy a guided tour of this charming city, once the capital of the Inca Empire. The tour begins with a visit to the Santo Domingo convent, which was built over the remains of the Inca temple of Qoricancha, one of the most important areas dedicated to the worship of the sun.
Ancient chronicles say that its walls were covered and filled with representations of nature in gold leaf. Later, visit the cathedral, the most impressive monument of the main site of the city. Then, go to the hills of Cusco, where the fort of Sacsayhuaman is located; its impressive walls offer a breathtaking panoramic view of Cusco.
Today, after breakfast, we will be transferred to the Cusco airport to catch your flight back to Lima – then home.

To get from Lima to Machu Picchu you must travel to the city of Cusco by plane or bus.
It is possible to go all the year, the minimum temperatures vary between 8 ºC and the maximum around 20 ºC.
There are 2 seasons in Machu Picchu: the dry season and the rainy season. The first one takes place between April and October, it is characterized by little rain and a sunny climate. The rainy season runs from November to March and is characterized by constant rains.
